SLNT Staff Participates in Australian Coral Reef Fellowship for International Leaders and Managers

Mr. Craig Henry, a Programme Officer within the Conservation Department of the Saint Lucia National Trust (SLNT), was one of 17 participants in the 2016 International Coral Reef Management and Leadership Programme, funded under the Australia Awards Fellowship Program in Great Barrier Reef from the 9th – 29th October. The programme targeted current and emerging leaders from the Caribbean, Pacific and Indian Ocean regions to observe first-hand Australia’s world-leading coral reef management regime to gain new skills and knowledge. The programme includes two courses – one on high level leadership for marine resource managers, Participants of the 2016 International Coral Reef Management and Leadership Programme and the other on excellence in reef management, with participants from each course coming together during a one-week overlap period.
