Maria Islands

The islands are set about one half mile from the mainland, with access provided by local fishing boats. Maria Islands is a reserve for an endemic species of lizard and an endemic species of snake which is non-poisonous and considered the world's rarest snake. The island is also the major nesting site for migratory birds. These Islands can truly be your sanctuary for the day.

Today she is home to diverse and amazing birdlife. You can climb to the top of the island and visit the nature reserve, or stay on the small private beach for a picnic lunch, swimming and sunbathing.
